One of the most amazing things about today’s world is you can live anywhere and we can work together. That means you can add a physical therapist to you and your horse’s team. We can work on your strength and alignment, help your horse recover from an injury, or spend time auditing your current program to figure out what’s working and where you can improve (time well spent, my friend!). Equine Performance Program
Imagine this. Are you like Sally?
Sally has a performance horse and has set some fun goals this year. She’s really excited about enrolling in the Equine Performance Program because she wants to get a customized exercise prescription for her horse to help him move better and handle the stressors of training. She’s also really excited to have someone look at her horse with fresh eyes and help her monitor his soundness. He’s been injured in the past and she’s anxious about aggravating this injury, so is glad to have help from a physical therapist to know what exercises are best.
The Equine Performance Program is for people who want customized help with their horse. You want to prevent an injury with your horse, or you are rehabbing an injury and need some help. Almost all performance horses would benefit from this program.
This is a virtual program so you can live anywhere.
In this program, you'll submit photos and videos of your horse each quarter (or more frequently if needed). Shelley will analyze how your horse is moving, and design an exercise prescription to target muscle imbalances or weaknesses. Shelley will also complete a monthly review of your training program and help you identify potential concerns (this is highly individualied for each horse and rider).

This program is for you if:
-you have a performance horse and want help from a physical therapist to build a quality fitness and exercise program.
-you want a customized exercise prescription for your horse to improve movement, strength, and resilience to injury.
-you would like guidance for how to help your horse feel better and stay sound. Shelley will suggest referrals to vets, farriers, bodywork, etc. as needed.
-you are able to submit photos and videos of your horse so Shelley can perform a movement assessment.
-if you enroll in the wellness program, you are able to participate in a monthly call to touch base about your horse and review their current program.
$150 for a one-time report or $75.00/month when you enroll in the equine wellness program. Three month minimum is required.

Rider Performance Program
Is this you?
Jen is struggling to recover from an old injury. She fell off her horse last year and her body has never felt quite the same. She feels stiffer when she rides and often limps a few steps when she first stands up or gets off her horse. She’s tried exercise programs, massages, and chiropracter treatments but is still struggling. She’s excited to get some specific help with her riding and movement patterns to get back to feeling like herself in the saddle.
This program is for riders who need help recovering from an injury or are struggling to improve their riding due to a chronic weakness or discomfort. The price listed is for customized program and two telehealth sessions each month.
This is a virtual program so you can live anywhere.
This program is for you if:
-you need a customized program to help you recover from an injury or deal with a chronic movement restriction.
-you are able to participate in video calls.
-you want an in-depth movement analysis to identify restrictions and compensations.
-you want a customized exercise program addressing your movement restrictions.
-you would like your riding videos analyzed to assess your position, strength, and body control. This is optional, as some people are unable to ride for various reasons.
-you want access to Shelley for help with your program as needed.
